Today's society is, unfortunately, flawed in many ways. One of this is the prejudice and sexual harassment that so many women face daily. Change is most likely to start happening if people are educated from a young age. Many children are, in fact, exposed to misogyny from as young as elementary school! Incorporating education to prevent misogynistic cultural elements from being ingrained in their brains while their brains are still building values is the most effective way to prevent toxic mindsets- thing that include "boys will be boys" and "not all men". No, not all men- but all women. All women are faced with the fear of walking in the dark. Of going places alone. Of wearing what they want. to After all, kids are taught from kindergarten the Golden Rule: treat other the way you want to be treated. Teaching men to respect and support women should simply be an extension of that. When it's something that is intuitive, or flows with previous things they've learned, anti-misogyny will be something that children are more willing to accept. This education should be something gradual. At kids mature, they get ready for more instruction. Similarly, readiness should be considered when educating them- as the health curriculum teaches more mature content, children may be faced with more harsh realities and more realizations that society needs a change, and that this change begins with the youth.
