We are attempting to petition the district to keep Google Hangouts unblocked, as it is quite useful for schoolwork, and significantly more efficient than email when communicating with other students. Google Hangouts is a simple instant messaging service provided by Google, free of charge. It allows people to create groups filled with a seemingly unlimited amount of people(over 100 people). Hangouts allows for the quick communication for projects, work, and/or individual questions. this system makes it easy to communicate with many people at once, no matter one-on-one or in organized groups. Hangouts has all the key parts that are present within Gmail, but it is significantly faster, if not instant. We need this for the benifits that it offers, and the schoolwork advantage & our performance in academics.
