WVSSAC should eliminate the rule that prohibits non-school participation on a team in the same sport while a member of a school team. This rule disadvantages WV athletes as compared to other states, including WV’s bordering states. Colleges only offer so many athletic scholarships so any disadvantage hurts our kids. 

It not only disadvantages them, but it prevents them from playing more of a sport that they’re passionate about. Respectfully, WVSSAC needs to trust in parents to know when to limit their child’s activities.
