A Concerned Citizen started this petition to West Virginia DOH

I am a resident who lives on 220 South just below the old Baker Rocks Store. I have lived in my residence for the past 23 years, and during this time I have witnessed countless accidents, and myself have almost been a victim because of this passing zone. There has been so many accidents on this stretch of road due to passing, and there has also been fatalities. The first passing zone starts just after Frank and Helen Fisher's home and goes just beside of Bergdoll's Kennels. There is also a passing zone that starts right after the hill near Baker Rock's Store. The road that leads to Bergdoll's Kennels is a hot spot for accidents. There have been many residents who live up that road who have gotten hit whether it's someone passing on either side of the road, or being stopped and people rear ending them. There have been countless vehicles that have actually driven up into my yard after hitting someone or being hit. There was just an accident 2 weeks ago due to someone passing and not seeing who was on the other side. The state road has told us that we needed to get a petition going before they consider it. Let's get these lines painted, people! I am a mother and I have to put my signal light on clear before I get to my house just to get the person behind me somewhat slowed down so I won't get hit. There is also a bus stop at Greenwood DR and the bus driver has honked his horn numerous times for people passing the school bus! I strongly encourage people who have been victims of an accident on this stretch of road to please speak up!
