Come to the public meeting to save the Children's centres
Mar 30, 2021 —
Many of you will know that West Sussex Tory Councillors are planning to close 32 of the 43 children and family centres in West Sussex.
The centres have been an invaluable resource for people in our county. They are a lifeline for families, including the poorest and most vulnerable in our communities.
The consultation is now open. We want as many people to take part in that consultation and to be as informed as possible. Have your say on the consultation. Unsurprisingly, it's a little hard to navigate. If you want to save the centres, pick OPTION 3: RETAIN CURRENT ACCESS CENTRES, and provide as much information as you can.
There is also an online meeting being organized by some local parents. They’ve invited the West Sussex Council Leaders to give their views on the proposed closure of 32 children and family centres. They’ve also invited health experts and hope to hear from people on the front line.
The meeting is Thursday 8 April, 7:30 pm. You can access it with the following link-
