Let the Valedictorian Speak at Graduation

I’ve worked vigorously all of high school to get to where I am today as the West Ranch High School class of 2018 Valedictorian. It’s sickening and unjust that the WRHS administration is not letting me speak to my class at graduation, even thought I’ve stressed my passion to do so! Not only is it traditionally customary for a valedictorian to make a farewell speech but I am also one of the most well liked and active seniors on campus. Even Google defines valedictorian as “a student, typically having the highest academic achievements of the class, who delivers the valedictory at a graduation ceremony.”
