Layton City has limited mountain bike dirt trails West of the I-15 Freeway. We propose to create a dual purpose area, using an existing water collection basin at the corner of Layton Parkway and 1700 W to build a temporary community MTB trail. The building materials, labor, and equipment would all be donated by the local community. Maintenance of the MTB trail would also be managed by a local community group of volunteers.
