SBCC that Owens the land that used to be where the old charles chips was and is along stony battery and Ivy dr and right across from The Hempfield Rec is try to get the land out of agricultural and get it zoned residential so they can develop with housing. once it it out of agricultural it will likely never be reversed. with all the other land being sold and houses/warehouse being built on them around the area we are losing all of our farm land and green areas that make this a great township to live and grow up in. not only that this would add to more traffic in the area and more kids in the schools witch are already to capacity. I am hoping to get as many signatures from residents as possible so that the west hempfield board of supervisors will choose to keep it in agricultural and not change it to residential. and know that the residents of west hempfield don't want it to be developed because that would take away what little agricultural land and green space we have left .
