This is just another way for the council to increase council tax above the Governments maximum increase that West Berks has already implemented this year! The present council tax already includes a charge for collecting this!!!

Because I object to being charged to provide the local council with free compost for their parks and gardens, we already pay for the upkeep of parks etc in the council tax! Perhaps if the CONservative council members didn't insist on such exorbitant salaries, pensions and expenses the local council tax payer wouldn't keep finding themselves being gouged for yet more money!

addition to the above, people with small gardens, so proportionally less waste being charged the same as more wealthy people! shades of the poll tax there.
