SHE COLLAPSED AND LEFT THIS CRUEL WORLD AFTER SUFFERING MORE THAN 33 HOURS !

The elephant collapsed and died after suffering more than 33 hours around 5:30 pm. On September 27's accident took place at 8.30 am, the 75741 SGUJ-DBB (Siliguri-Dhubri) Intercity Express between Banarhat and Nagrakata was on its usual route, through the Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. The engine of the train hit the elephant that was trying to cross the tracks in the jungle. The hit left the animal severely injured. The critically injured elephant tried herself to drag out of the way of the train and people watched in helplessness. She was reduced and gone for treatment but the information says that she got multiple fractures even the bones and ribs were visible. It is really shameful for humans who encroached most of the migratory routes of wild animals for their comfort. We are very saddened to hear the loss of such a beautiful soul who was going to her home to meet family and friends. We will share the final report soon.
