John Gittemeier started this petition to Wentzville School

We want for every family within the Wentzville School district to have the option to send their kids to school in person full time 5 days a week. The people who want to do virtual learning are entitled to their choice and we should be too.

Preschool, daycare, swim lessons, family fun centers, little bits gym, karate, etc. Have all been open and hosting children. If they can figure out how to safely operate surely WSD can! Construction, restaurants, grocery stores, and every "essential" businesses have been open. Nail/Hair salons, bars, amusement parks are non-essential businesses that are open as well.

So why is our children's future and mental health less important for our local government to manage than everything else? Even the CDC recommends kids going to school in person. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/reopening-schools.html#fn2

Finally the majority of teachers and health care professionals I speak with all agree, kids are better off in school.

Wentzville school board didn't even try. Make schools and our children's future your first priority.
