A meeting was held without any cheerleaders or cheerleading coaches on the topic of whether or not cheerleaders would be allowed to go to any away games for the basketball season, from this point on. We, as a whole, have all worked very hard since mid June to go and support our schools, and they are trying to take our ability to travel to away games away from us. It will affect the team morale, the crowd morale, it will not allow the cheerleaders to perform what they’ve worked so hard for since the beginning of summer. By allowing cheerleaders to go to the games, it shows that we support our schools, support our athletes, and support our crowds. We are asking that if you support our cause, please sign our petition.
