Public Health Wales have recently changed cervical screening to age 25, every 5 years.
This is extremely concerning as we know cervical cancer can go completely undetected for a very long time.
Trust us to know our own uterus and allow us to request a smear when we notice any change/have concerns, allow this from the age of 16 and invite us every year for our smear.
Cervical cancer doesn't always stem from a HPV positive result. Let's not gamble lives.
