Such an important part of Welsh history that should not be forgotten. A tragedy that this reservoir was allowed to happen but this kind of vandalism is a disgrace.

Because it's already seen as a Welsh landmark by the people of Wales and deserves the official recognition

I lived in Wales for a year, finishing my dissertation on Welsh poetry. I loved it there, and revere its culture and history. I still teach medieval Welsh literature. This and the recent insult done to the Ring of Brodgar at Orkney is just another reason to be ashamed of humanity and its ignorance, contempt and vulgarity. So many human beings aren't, though, so I hope you will help stop this from happening, I don't know how. Do we have to cordon everything off? Diolch yn fawr.
