Wells Fargo: Don't Pull the Plug on the Atwater Village Tree Lighting Ceremony!

We are outraged that Wells Fargo Bank has decided to be a bad neighbor and kick out the Atwater Village Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, an event that brings our neighborhood together and supports the local economy.
For the last 25 years, the Tree Lighting Ceremony has taken place without any problems in the bank's lot on Glendale Blvd. This site has been the location for the event all these years because it's directly across the street from the tree and provides the safest location for the families that come to this event. In the last several months, Wells Fargo has left neighbors in limbo, without a final decision about the use of their site. Now at the last minute, Wells Fargo has said no, leaving little time and resources for alternative locations and putting the event in jeopardy.
Wells Fargo is a $1.9 Trillion company and holds a lucrative contract with the City of LA for banking services. Surely they can find a way to work with the community to save the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Wells Fargo has been saying they want to rebuild trust with slogans like "Building Better Every Day" but clearly those claims are insincere if they are unwilling to work with local communities.
We urge Wells Fargo Bank to allow the Annual Atwater Village Tree Lighting Ceremony to stay where it has for the last 25 years.
