Speed Camera or speed bump on Harold Road, Bozeat.
Harold Road in Bozeat is a school Road but also a target for fast drivers.
I witnessed a terrible incident last year on Harrold Road, a van was driving fast and hit a dog.
You would think as it’s a School Road people will slow down especially when they see the children but they don’t.
Having speed humps or a camera in place would hugely help Harold Road and the anxiety of parents of the children walking that road or anyone walking along the road.
Simply put lower speeds save lives. If you are hit by a car at 30mph, you are more likely to die, if you are hit at 20mph, you are more likely to survive I see cars in the morning rushing because they maybe late or just enjoy driving fast around a lot of people, however that is not at 30 or even 40mph, I have seen the speed of at least 60mph. It’s a residential area and a School Road children everywhere.
Please help get something in place I know people will think speed camera “tax payers of Bozeat money” but this really will make a huge change, even speed humps anything.
