Webster Groves needs more stop signs, pedestrian crosswalks and caution lights
0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!
Throughout our wonderful community of Webster Groves many homeowners and parents of small children and pets are concerned with the excessive speed which many “cut thru” drivers are reaching. The standard speed limit is 25 mph for residential neighborhoods and drivers are reaching well above this speed. This makes it dangerous for people to feel safe walking around our very social and tight knit community. Without more stop signs and crosswalks people don’t feel as comfortable crossing streets to get to local business as well. I have started this petition to hopefully prevent an accident from occurring with a pedestrian vs a motor vehicle. Unfortunately many residents have noted that school starts and gets out during the highest time of rush hour cut thru work traffic. Therefore we need to protect our junior Webster Groves residents as well. Please support this petition asking for the city of Webster to seriously consider additional stop signs and crosswalks. Thank you
