Last school year (2020-2021) we would get out of school on a regular day at 1:50 (which is basically a short day all ready) AND had short days every other Wednesday. This year we get out of school on a regular day at 2:30 which is too long to not have a short day at least every other week. So, I think that the Weber School District should at least give us short days every other Wednesday, but even better give us short days EVERY Wednesday. The reason they aren't giving us short days this year is because, we had too short of regular days last year that the teachers weren't able to teach us everything we needed to learn. So they are taking away short days this year so that they can catch up on all of the stuff that we missed last year. But students have a life outside of school and can't have long days every single day of the week. Students have more time outside of school to focus on other important aspects of their lives. Therefore, they won't feel as stressed with time management, and won't fall behind on such enriching activities."

This is why we deserve short days on Wednesdays.
