Wearing the Number of Americans Killed in Iraq
The Issue
Most Americans are unaware of the loss of life in Iraq. Each day, I wear a sticker with the number of Americans killed in Iraq. I only list the number, for example today it is 3,466. This gives me th opportunity to answer questions and to talk about the people I knew who have been killed there and the gold star parents I have had the opportunity to get to know.
