At McKinley Middle School, pajama pants are currently banned. These include plaid pants, sweatpants with drawstrings, Nike Pro shorts, ect. Many students have been dress coded for these. As an 8th grader here, I find it stupid and demeaning, as it is just an article of clothing and it’s not a big deal. Signing this petition will give us the right to wear what feels right to us at school.
