We would like to have a pedestrian crossing installed on the A388 to allow safe access to the primary school for our children and local residents. 

This could be combined with a safe pedestrian entrance so that children don't have to run the risk of entering through the busy car park. 

A crossing would have the added benefit of slowing down the traffic on the main road, as very few cars pay attention to the 30mph speed limit. 

We have the support of the school and the governors. If we can show that there is enough public demand for the project then we should be able to convince the council to take action.
