Finally the dogs are able to be adopted into loving, caring homes!
 
The lawsuit filed by convicted animal abuser Christy Tuchel against the Sheboygan County Humane Society has been dismissed.
 
The Sheboygan County Humane Society incurred daily costs while caring for the dogs
removed from Tuchel’s premises in June 2017.  Tuchel filed a lawsuit against the Sheboygan County Humane Society in July 2017.  This lawsuit prevented the dogs from being adopted into caring homes.
 
On March 8, 2019,  the case was dismissed with a stipulation that Tuchel must relinquish all rights to the dogs in exchange for not having to pay for the costs of their care while the dogs were in the care of the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
 
The community will continue to watch Christy Tuchel and Breanna Mikula.  We must never let this abuse to animals happen again.   
 
We wish the adopted dogs all the best in their new lives in loving homes.  We  never gave up in the fight for your freedom from abuse.   We will always remember those who did not make it out of alive. In your memory, we continue to fight against animal abuse.
