Here is the story as written in the Sheboygan Press:
The last person awaiting sentencing in the Kinship Companions dead dogs case was sentenced Tuesday to two years of probation.
Breanna Mikula, 21, changed her plea from not guilty to no contest Monday on three misdemeanor charges of being party to failing to provide food to an animal.
An additional 33 identical charges were dismissed but read in, along with a felony charge of being party to the mistreatment and death of animals.
While on probation, Mikula will have to go through appropriate counseling and won't be able to own any animals.
Kimberly Meulbroek, the mother of a friend of Mikula's, spoke at the hearing Tuesday, saying Mikula lived with them for a few months and was knowledgeable about taking care of dogs. "We treated her like a daughter," Meulbroek said.
Christy Rose Tuchel, owner of the former kennel and Mikula's mother, was sentenced to one year in jail and eight years of probation at the beginning of October for causing mental harm to a child.
The former manager of the kennel, Anthony James Keyport, was sentenced last week to 90 days in the county jail and three years of probation for the same charge.
"You should, for many years, be a contributing member to the community," Judge Edward Stengel said to Mikula during the hearing, "not someone who uses up resources and breaks the laws."
Mikula is the last person to be sentenced in connection with the kennel, where officials reported finding dogs without food or water and dozens more dead inside freezers last year.

Many people have followed this story and fought for justice for the dogs and the child involved. To them we say "thank you." To the dogs who lost their lives and suffered at the hands of these abusers we say "we are so sorry." To the child involved, we extend our support to you for your honesty and your bravery.
The sentencing may be over, but the story is not over. We will continue to watch Christy Tuchel, Breanna Mikula, and Anthony Keyport. Christy Tuchel and Breanna Mikula have yet to admit fault or empathy. Anthony Keyport did express remorse at his sentencing.
If you become aware of probation violations, please immediately report to the authorities.
The community will not forget what was done to these dogs and to the child.
We will continue to fight against abuse.
We will not forget.
