The Liberty Media CEO Stefano Domenicali stated his reason as followed: “Tradition and History is not longer enough to be on the calendar.”

Liberty Media who bought F1, is now ruining F1 at all. They only care about the money now and this is resulting in loss or Circuits like Spa Francorchamps. Its not the only one, we have heard Monza on the list and even Monaco who still does not have a contract. Now they also want to remove the French GP.. 

Where is this going to end??

We’re all used to the 19-21 races in a year, but now they want to extend that to 24 races or even more.. These changes are resulting in losing Real Iconic, Classic and Historical Grand Prix’s that “We (US FANS!) all know and love!”

Now Spa Francorchamps is currently not on the Calendar for the Formula 1 2023 Season and we (us fans!) don’t want to see Spa Francorchamps (Belgian GP) to leave the sport. We absolutely love the track, it’s a real racing track with amazing characteristics, which showed us many, many amazing races in the past and some really amazing memories!

Spa Francorchamps is just 1 of the Circuits that MADE F1 to what it is now,.. today and they are simply pushing these traditional circuits like Spa Francorchamps, and it’s all about the money for them..

Imagine it, even if it may be for only one year (it can actually result in more years or not coming back at all). It’s surely nice to see Circuits like South-Afrika, and even Las Vegas coming into the sport but just not at cost of circuits like Spa Francorchamps. I think some circuits should always be on the F1 calendar no matter what! They have been on there since the beginning of F1.

Now I (or let us say): WE, in the hope to keep the Spa Francorchamps (Belgian Grand Prix) on the calendar say this.

WE WILL START AND SPREAD THIS PETITION BECAUSE WE DO NOT WANT TO SEE THE BELGIAN GRAND PRIX GO AWAY.

Formula 1 is not only about the money! Circuits like Spa Francorchamps made the sport to what it is now, today.. and because of that we simply cannot accept this at all.

WE (us fans) also made the sport to what it is now. The drivers have said it before, we are a big amount of power that stimulates the sport and drivers.
