Tuba City High School has had a great Head Coach for the 2021 season, Vincent Lee. Coach Lee was a key figure in the revitalization of the Warrior Football Program at the Tuba City High School. This season graduated over Seniors, all of whom had a great experience working with Coach Lee. 
On August 4th, 2022, the Tuba City Warrior Football Facebook page posted a status that states “The Head Coach has resigned due to TCHS and its handling of an incident involving a parent who was screaming and shouting obscenities on the field. During this display of harassment, the Parent threatened the Head Coach’s job status. The parent was upset after her son was removed from the football team for cussing at the Head Coach and making disparaging/negative remarks about the football team.”
We would like Tuba City High School administration staff re-evaluate their role in this situation and reinstate Coach Lee as the Head Coach for the Warrior Football Program. The code of conduct for parents and players was overlooked and the safety of all players and coaching staff was at risk, which TCHS overlooked as well. If we are to build a safe environment for our students to gain leadership skills to help them in their future endeavors, TCHS did not uphold their mission statement.
By signing this petition, you are asking the Tuba City High School to investigate this situation further to ensure that our TCHS Head Coach, Mr. Lee is reinstated as the Head Coach. Advocating for our student athletes is our #1 priority. Coach Lee was part of the recruiting process for some Warrior Football players who graduated in 2022.
