Dear Mrs. Rivera:

In light of the letter received on Friday April 8th, regarding your resignation as Principal of St Agnes Academy, we URGE you to review your decision and kindly request you to attend our concerns in benefit of the entire St Agnes Community.

We want you to know that we are a large group of parents and teachers who feel that St Agnes Academy is Mrs. Rivera. We are aligned with your vision and the direction in which you are steering the school. Not only instilling the Catholic values but also pursuing academy excellency, in order to achieve well-rounded students and prepare our children to face the world with as many tools as possible.   

We would like to highlight your special dedication and your support to our children all this years. From welcoming them every morning and greeting them by name, to taking the time to address every parent’s concern when requested.

You led the school through the pandemic with excellence. Our children did not miss a day of school thanks to your efforts to migrate the education to an online system. The spirit of the school was kept intact due to your leadership, dedication and the warmth of the teachers. The way you managed the return of our children to school, with the implications and responsibilities that entailed to follow the ADOM COVID protocol, was remarkable.

As parents, we delegate to St Agnes Academy the education of our children while at school. We choose this school and we trust you and the educators to guide them.

We are here to support you, and we pray God to guide you and to give you strength on where your final decision takes you.
