For too long the Bobby Verdugo y Yoli Rios Bilingual Peer Mentor and Tutoring Center has been a Cat-Free organization. No more, we say! Every year, an estimated 6.3 million companion animals end up in shelters and pounds. If we have the opportunity to take in and change the life of one of these needy animals, we should take it! It is no secret that these lovable animals provide support and comfort to all those who are near to them, and as university students striving to achieve our goals and aspirations, we are in great need of such comfort. We strongly believe a Centro Cat is exactly what we need to push ourselves to be the best students we can be. ***We are aware that some students may be hesitant to support us because of allergies, but we will do our best to accommodate by adopting a hypoallergenic breed.
