Make hospital signs on highway exits mandatory. This will save lives.

My dad had a heart attack and my mom had to quickly drive him to the hospital. This happened in the south suburbs of Atlanta. It was the scariest day of our lives. One thing we observed, this living in multiple states through the years, and now in Chicago, we do not have mandatory hospital signs on the highway exits. It got me thinking, Why? We have signs for McDonald's, subway, gas, motels, airports... Why not have signs for hospitals - in a clear, legible way where people can reach the emergency departments and save lives. I am not looking for an argument on calling 911, not every single emergency can afford to call, wait for the ambulance if we all know the hospital signs on the highways. There are number of accidents, emergencies that can be given far faster treatment and help if this happens. Join me if we want to see this change.
