The Menedez brothers we abused physically, mentally, and sexually.  Their father (Jose Menedez) was the main abuser and their mother ( Kitty Menedez) knew all about it and didn't care. The parent would them insult them constantly like the mother would say "I wish you were never born" or the Dad would say "'I didn't raise you to get weak because you feel other persons pain."( he said this while Lyle was giving Erik 'pressure points" or just pinching Eriks back VERY hard. The father would force Erik to have sex up to twice a month later on in his years and the father also molested Lyle the oldest but stopped around age 8. The father would also physically abuse them ,ex. holding Erik underwater until he was about to pass out or leaving him in the water and the father rowing back to shore and telling them to swim even though they couldn't really swim at that time. Jose would also seclude them from team sports like track, so they would play tennis which they were pretty darn good at it. But out of all this the brothers feared for their lives the parent would have harsh punishment like locking them in the closet if they did something wrong, and the father would always make threats about their lives.
