Jamaica is regarded one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Government and state officials steal millions of dollars of public funds each year.

Consequently, education, health, social infrastructure, sanitation etc. are seriously underfunded. Crime and violence are a consequence of this entrenched form of corruption.

The elected politicians of the two ruling parties, People's National Party (PNP) and Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) have refused to respond to a People's Anti-Corruption Movement request for a People's Commission of Enquiry into State Corruption, leading to a Forensic Audit of the Public Debt, which the Prime Minister has admitted is corrupt. The people should NOT pay back Corrupt Debt.
