Now is the time for us as members of the Gloucester, Barton and Tredworth community to put a stop to the gentrification and  dictation of our beloved community school. Widden has been the home for many who have come from diverse backgrounds and has always been an inclusive school that promotes equality and diversity. 
Why should we allow an organisation that doesn’t know how to cater for inner city schools, that is trying to change everything that makes Widden so special take over? 
It is time to make a stand for what is right for our precious school and the future of our children! 
After the harrowing events of the Lockdown that left many vulnerable children in a state of terror, it is clear that the welfare of the children of widden is not their main priority, that keeping clear communication with parents about policy and procedure changes isn’t important.
