Electronic Arts have been disappointing people with their subpar video games for the better part of a decade, particularly their sports games, with an emphasis placed on the Madden franchise.

With the Madden franchise, things have reached a boiling point this year with hashtags such as #EndMaddenMonopoly, #FixMaddenFranchise, and #NFLDropEA. People are extremely frustrated and disappointed by the lack of care and development that goes into this game. The gameplay is horrendous particularly because it's running on an engine, Frostbite, that was designed for FPS games and not sports games; the bugs in the game make you scream as if you've just seen a giant Madagascar hissing cockroach, players sometimes run around like they have a giant diaper on and there's a tremendous lack of attention to detail or rather anything.

The beloved franchise mode of the Madden community has seen hundreds of features taken away to never be seen again, common sense things that should be in the game, but even after "taking feedback" from the community aren't inserted into patches for the whole year or even the next Madden game.

Their holy grail of billions of dollar in the form of microtransactions, Madden Ultimate Team isn't even that great anymore ( a lot of you will say it was never great, completely understandable), tremendous lack of content, attention to detail, and y'all get it, it's the same spiel with these guys.

There are in-depth videos on what's wrong with Madden from people like RyanMoody21 and SOFTDRINKTV so I encourage you to check those out, but as for the purpose of this petition, change has to start somewhere and we're hoping it's at the top.

EA has fallen from grace and respectability morphing into a corporation that doesn't listen to its developers, consumers, or frankly anyone who might actually have a good idea at this point. It's time for a change and hopefully, it starts here.
