As students and future educators enrolled in the School of Education Masters and Credential program, the class of 2022 graduates deserves a proper hooding ceremony! 

Coming out of the global pandemic, students struggled with difficulties of remote learning, adjusting personal learning styles to stay focused and complete program requirements. Students working on the Masters of Education and Credential program deserve to be recognized for their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments. The struggles, both physically and mentally that we have endured have caused students to drop out, become significantly unmotivated, or have a decline in health due to the stressful inconsistencies in our education.  In consideration of teacher appreciation week, we would like to submit this petition that recognizes future teachers of this community with an intimate hooding ceremony at UCR.
