We, the people of Hajira Azad Kashmir demanding standard services of Telenor in our city. We have been promised with standard call quality & 2G or Edge internet services using mobile data as user of Telenor Pakistan, but unfortunately both services are below the standard.
As per international standard 2G & Edge services means "with General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), there is a theoretical maximum transfer speed of 50 kbit/s (40 kbit/s in practice). With EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution), there is a theoretical maximum transfer speed of 1 Mbit/s (500 kbit/s in practice)". Currently provided speed by Telenor is maximum 16/KBs (confirmed by Telenor itself).
We will describe call quality of Telenor in very simple words. Residents of Hajira city are having an alternate mobile SIM card as they know with Telenor, it is not happening some times.
We have tried following channels to get a standard service but nothing has happened and left with not choice but to start an online petition.
