We demand the suspension of the Brighton, Hove and District Labour Party is lifted and the election results of the annual general meeting are recognised.
It is wrong to suspend Brighton and Hove Constituency Labour Party for following democratic principles that are a core value of the Labour Party. It meets neither the need to be fair to members, nor to respect the will of the people that make the Party and the movement what it is.
Reinstate the Party and all the members that voted, whether they voted for against a motion of support for Jeremy Corbyn. Their right to vote must be respected by the Party, or the Party ceases to mean anything.
