The A28 which runs through Bethersden is currently very dangerous for the residents to cross and therefore means we are not able to gain access to the centre of the village safely.
I raised our concerns with the local Bethersden Parish Council back in 2017 as my 11 year old daughter could not get to the bus stop to take her to school in Ashford. So she currently stands in the verge on the only area of the A28 with good sight lines. Which is obviously not ideal, and highly frustrating.
I want residents to come together and lobby Ashford Borough Council and Kent Highways to resolve this problem ASAP and provide suitable provisions for the local families who feel very alienated, deeply concerned and totally ignored.
