Why this petition matters

Started by Philly Forward

We Are Philadelphia, and We say, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!"

We are tired of feeling unsafe in our own homes.

We are frightened by car jackings, armed robberies, and other brazen violence in broad daylight.

We are distressed by empty storefronts, filthy streets, broken streetlights, and illegal dumping.

We are alarmed by the pathetic response times for 911 and 311 calls.

We are outraged by the lack of consequences for those who commit serious crimes.

Do you agree? Then join us in declaring "Enough Is Enough!” and sign your name to the Philadelphians’ Bill of Rights.

We, the people of Philadelphia, are entitled to the following fundamental rights which are essential to our City’s prosperity, security, and well-being. It is our elected officials' responsibility to help secure these rights for us—and the City is not doing its duty. Is anyone even listening to our concerns?

PHILLY FORWARD PAC BILL OF RIGHTS - All Philadelphians are entitled to:

  • Safe streets and neighborhoods free from violence
  • Protection from dangerous and disruptive vehicular traffic
  • Timely and effective responses to 911 and 311 calls
  • Neighborhoods free from litter, overflowing trash cans, and illegal dump sites
  • Well-lit and well-maintained streets, sidewalks, and public spaces
  • An environment attractive to new and existing businesses

We demand responsive elected officials who work FOR us, not AGAINST us. That’s why we founded Philly Forward, a citizen-funded and managed political action committee that will help shape the 2023 elections when we choose our next Mayor and all 17 City Council seats.

If you agree that we deserve better, sign our petition.

Please join us—we can’t do this alone.
