Jose Ramirez is a dedicated, loyal and most importantly, professional police officer. For the past 12 years he has worked tirelessly to protect and serve the city of Rincon. His name is synonymous with hard work, integrity and above all else, SERVICE. He has had an impeccable career with the Rincon Police Department, even being deemed worthy to be tapped for the position of Interim Chief of Police after the departure of the former chief. He served with honor, grace and dignity. He is the epitome of what the badge stands for and he exemplified the position of police officer.

Jose was terminated by the police department early January 2019. In light of his impeccable service record, it was baffling and hurtful. He has served this community and for the past 12 years has given his al to not just this department, but also this community. In a climate where there is so much negative reporting about police, he has ALWAYS made Rincon and Rincon PD proud. This man always served this community and considered it an honor and privilege to protect and serve its citizens. His character preceded him everywhere he went, and he gave 100% every time he donned his uniform.

He was friendly to residents but also commanded the respect necessary to effectively do his job. Nothing he did for Rincon or it’s police department were done except the best; he would give his heart for this community.

Please assist us in making our voices heard. Let city council and all powers that be know how much we appreciate Jose’s service and dedication to this community. Let them know of your desire to have him in uniform doing what he does best; PROTECTING AND SERVING”. We are blessed to live in a city that can boast low crime rates and and a great place to raise families because of Jose and his service in addition to his colleagues. Let them know that WE STAND WITH JOSE!
