All Canadians have the right to practice their own religion, and have the right to not be forced to participate in someone else’s. 

A school such as WCSS is comprised of many different cultures and religions. Many people including some of our students and their families have had painful experiences associated with organized religion. This pain should not be what is thought of when a student is walking on stage to receive their high school diploma. 

The WCSS administration is considering hosting our graduation ceremony at the Metropolitan Bible Church (the MET) this year. Please sign this petition if you believe that religious venues should be removed from the list of venues being considered for WCSS graduation ceremony.
