DreamBox is a nightmare for students. The school assigns us and the believe it helps us. It doesn't. All it does is make school more stressful. DreamBox makes math hard and frustrating, not fun and exciting. They don't give any tools to help you solve the problems. And when you get a problem wrong, instead of helping you, it punishes you by taking points away and making it longer until you can finish the lesson. I asked a few students in 8th grade, one said "I can't stand it. It was helpful in Elementary School, but now it is just a burden", "It’s poop I hate it .It takes like 10 mins to do one", and "It feels like they are treating us like little kids. we don't need this. I feel like it is hurting me Because it doesn't give me tools to solve problems.". Clearly the students of AFMS do not like it, and it makes them feel like crap.
