Animals in Zoos   displays are forced to spend their lives in cages   just to entertain the public.
The major problem with zoos is that the animals who live there are kept in enclosures that don't allow them to live their lives in a natural way.

Zoos are  risk of spreading viruses like Covid19.

Zoo animals have to spend day after day, week after week, year after year in the exact same enclosure. This makes their lives very monotonous.

Please teach Children that the" fantastic " world of Zoos    is not fantastic for animals.

We can learn about these amazing wild animals by watching wildlife videos, Documentations or by reading about them on the internet or in books and magazines.

It is simply not right to enjoy seeing these animals while they are living a horribly sad life.

Instead of locking up animals, they should do everything possible to preserve their natural habitat.

The large zoo -hunting  expeditions, in which millions of animals were torn from their natural habitat, contributed to the loss of species.

Captive-born tigers, bears, apes, lions, giraffes, polar bears and many other animal species cannot be released into the wild. In the zoo their instincts wither and the animals cannot learn important behaviors for survival in nature.

Zoos kills healthy Animals: Another Danish zoo, in Copenhagen, previously sparked worldwide outrage when it killed a 2-year-old giraffe named Marius — ostensibly to reduce the risk of inbreeding — before dissecting him and feeding him to lions.

Please dont visit Zoos !

I urge WAZA and EAZA  to close all Zoos worldwide,Release animals and transfer them to sanctuaries!

Please sign and share the Petition!  Thank you so much !

What you can do:

Please dont visit Zoos !

Explain to your children why your family does not support Zoos.

Children don't want animals to suffer. It is wrong to pretend that elephants, tigers or monkeys can be kept appropriately in captivity.

Send Emails to WAZA  EAZA  : urge them to close all Zoos :

Background:

Zoos regularly breed more animals than they can accommodate. With "cute" baby animals they want to attract visitors and benefit from free advertising in the press. When the animals get older and the zoos need space for new baby animals, the "surplus animals" are usually killed or sold to animal dealers. PETA has shown that the Zoo and Tierpark Berlin alone sold over 1,000 animals to the dubious animal dealer Werner Bode between 2007 and 2009. The animal dealer's customer list included an animal testing laboratory, an exotic restaurant and Chinese breeding farms. PETA has commercial documents that various zoos and zoos continued to do business with the animal dealer Werner Bode even after it was known that Bode had sold monkeys to an animal testing laboratory for extremely painful animal experiments. These facilities include the Berlin Zoo and Zoo, Duisburg Zoo, Hanover Zoo, Serengeti Park Hodenhagen, Munich Zoo (Hellabrunn), Saarbrücken Zoo, Opel Zoo Kronberg, Dresden Zoo, Bochum Zoo and the Aschersleben Zoo
