While there have been moves being made to provide better accessibility to menstrual products for cis-gender females, there are still people who do not present as female who require access to these products. It is common for things such as tampons and pads to be provided in public women's restrooms, however, this is rarely if ever seen in mens restrooms. This petition was created to change this. Public education facilities, such as Wayne State University are the first stepping stone for providing access to menstrual products in all public restrooms; men’s, women's, gender neutral, etc. Not only will this increase accessibility for trans individuals to public restrooms, it will also help to diminish the stigma around periods by exposing males to the products and proscess of menstruations.
