It's unfortunate, but the drug epidemic has touched many of our lives, as it's become so widespread that it's almost commonplace. Between paraphernalia found in our parks and ODs in public places, it would seem that our community's most impressionable individuals, our children, are the ones who will suffer the most as they witness this problem surrounding them closer and closer all the time. My family is no exception. In September 2017 my son's birth mother was found to be living at 713 N. Grant St in Wooster, Ohio when Medway DEA raided the home on two separate occasions and found drug paraphernalia following a stabbing in the house. For those who don't know, this house is two doors down from Cornerstone Elementary School and across the street from Christmas Run Park. The fact that these people chose to impose their disgusting behavior onto the children who live and go to school here is appalling to me. Who knows what these innocent children have had to see on their walk home from school. Thanks to our domestic court system, I was able to get my son away from this madness and I'm now able to protect him like he needs and deserves to be. Now I'm asking for your help to not only further protect my son, but to get all of these drug abusers and dealers off the streets and away from your precious children as well. They may be out of that house and out of that neighborhood, but they still have yet to answer for their crimes, as well as most other offenders. Let's make an example of them and hopefully make a dent in this horrifying drug epidemic.
