Covid-19 has seriously affected our high school experiences, personal experiences, and future experiences. As freshmen, we have not only missed one year of school, but three. I feel that the class of 2023 is at a disadvantage due to the fact we are required for our scores for the UNC System while classes such as 2022, 2021, and 2020 are not subjected to it. We have had to continue to work hard through online classes as well as in person. Even recently, several schools (such as mine) have had to lose teachers and administrators due to the spread of Covid-19. This consequently leaves us dazed and confused on our school work. We are the only generation that were freshmen at the time of the nation wide lock down. We should be treated as equal to the upperclassmen. Please sign the petition. Get the SAT for the class of 2023 removed.
