No Final Exams For Students With As

No Final Exams For Students With As
I myself am a current high school student, and I know one of the biggest sources of anxiety for all students is our approaching winter finals. The task of having to go back and re-memorize every piece of material from each class throughout the semester is stressful and frustrating. It is especially frustrating, for me and for many of my peers, when we are required to take our finals despite already having exceptional grades in our classes. Students with As in their classes have evidently excelled in their academics throughout the semester and have worked hard to earn the As that they have. In what way does it make sense to force these scholars to prove themselves again in the form of final exams? I believe that if a student has shown throughout a semester, with their grades, that they are dedicated and focused, they should not have to take final exams. It would be much more beneficial for all students if finals were viewed as a way to summarize and improve in a certain class, instead of a scheme to wreak havoc on their grades. I am certain many of you share the same sentiments as I, and therefore I ask for your support by signing my petition. We can make positive changes to our education together!
