For the past couple years the Central Coast has seen a jump in street racing and “illegal sideshow” activity. This inherently makes us car enthusiasts look like we all do the same thing as everyone else (burnouts, donuts, freeway takeovers, ILLEGAL STREET RACING). All we ask, is for the city of Watsonville to allow us to have a designated drag strip or empty lot that we can use to host weekly or bi weekly car meets and drag races, so that we can LEGALLY enjoy what we do. Just like every other business, this lot will have its own rules and regulations which can be negotiated to both of our expectations. This can help lower the amount of street racing and sideshow activity that has been going on for the last couple of years.
