Deshaun Watson, QB of the Browns and one of the highest paid NFL players in the league, has been accused by over 30 women of sexual assault. And while most people were calling for a full year or indefinite suspension, the female judge Sue Robinson overseeing the case ruled today that he should only be suspended 6 games. Watson will not even be FINED. 

Those of you who are NFL fans and have followed this organization know this is just one of many sexual assault and misconduct situations that have been swept under the rug, but this is the most egregious of them all. It is beyond insulting to women, especially those of us who have experienced sexual assault (which is over 81% of American women). This was an opportunity for the NFL to turn things around and show over 40% of their viewer base that they want to make changes and take a stand, especially in light of all of the other attacks against women's rights the last few months. 

The NFL has three days to appeal the ruling -- the purpose of this petition is to garner support for an appeal and to get this disgusting pig more punishment and provide some sort of better justice for these women. 

The time is now, NFL. Hold your organization to a higher standard. You all have wives and daughters and nieces and sisters. Believe women. Support women. DO BETTER!
