For nearly six years now, Helping Hand Waterford has provided support, meals, tents, sleeping bags and emergency provisions for the homeless, the vulnerable, those in emergency and temporary accommodation, families and individuals who find themselves struggling for numerous reasons. We have never turned anyone away.

But for the first time since we started, we are asking for help for ourselves. We have provided our services through wind, rain, sunshine, snow and Covid, but through it all, we have never had a place to truely call home. Our service is about offering a hand up and not a hand out, with openness, respect, care and hope. Every cent donated to Helping Hand goes directly to our service, our organisation is run entirely by dedicated volunteers and our hope is to give dignity to everyone who are struggling and feel alone. 

In order to continue to offer our clients, families and individuals the hope and dignity we all deserve we urgently need our own place.
