Recently, Santa Rosa County has only had one trash pick-up day due to switching companies. I’m sure we have all noticed the amount of flies, bugs, and even more bears becoming more and more attracted to our trash, which sits out for a week before it can be finally taken out. What happens if you accidentally miss trash day? Your trash will sit out for another week; therefore, attracting more flies, bears, and unwanted smells. The goal here is to get as many signatures as possible so we can get back to our twice, if not, three times a week trash pick-up. If you’re sick of having to wait a week for your trash to be picked up, this petition is for you. This would not only be better for the animals who have been getting into the trash, but also better for the look and appeal of our Florida neighborhoods. Let’s get Waste Pro to come by at least twice a week, because once a week is not enough!
