The WashU administration is reinstating online classes, while barring students from their return to campus until January 28th. This poses a serious impediment to students' ability to succeed academically, and places a heavy burden upon their mental health. It is therefore imperative that this decision be immediately rescinded, and students be allowed to proceed with the spring semester as normal.

Students are encouraged to reach out to the university individually as well to communicate their negative experiences with online classes and their distaste for their re-institution, as well as any other concerns they may have regarding the recent communication from the Office of the Chancellor.
